Where can I use Barfly’s bar catering services?

Barfly can cater your event at any location where beer, wine, or liquor is permitted to be served. If the venue already has a liquor license (i.e. hotel, theme park, restaurant, country club), they will less likely allow you to use our services.

What types of bars do you offer?

Flexibility is our key ingredient for a successful event. We can create a package to suit your needs for any event or occasion. Here are some examples: Full Bar, Beer & Wine Bar, Martini Bar, Specialty Wine Bar, Micro Brew Bar, Frozen Drink Bar, Bloody Mary Bar, and Scotch Bar.

What pricing options do you offer?

Beverages can be purchased at a per person hourly rate or billed on consumption (per drink). In addition to a typical hosted bar in which the host covers the full cost of the bar, we offer cash bars where the guests pay for their own drinks (cash bar fee will apply). We can also combine a hosted and cash bar through the use of pre-purchased drink tickets. Your Barfly sales rep can help you figure out what option is best for your event.

Is there a minimum quantity of guests required for your per person rate?

We usually require a minimum of 50 guests, however, we always try to cater to our client's individual needs. Give us a call for a free consultation.

Will I be charged the per person rate for those under 21?

We are happy to adjust our per person rate for guests under 21 only drinking non-alcoholic beverages.

Do you offer tables, chairs, and linen?

We can help you arrange these other event basics and can add the additional costs to your Barfly contract and invoice. For anything beyond the basics, we could refer you to some great decorators.

Do you also offer food catering?

We do not handle any food catering but will gladly refer you to some of Central Florida's finest food caterers. We work in cooperation with food caterers on a regular basis. Hiring Barfly for your bar service allows your food caterer to focus on their specialty while we focus on ours. It's a win for everyone…especially you, the client.

What if my event requires a product that is not on your Alcohol Selection List?

The products listed on our Alcohol Selection List are chosen based on their quality and brand recognition. Because we purchase certain products in large quantities we receive volume savings which we are able to pass on to you. Other options are available, however your cost may increase for what appears to be a comparable product. We will do our best to accommodate your special needs.

Are there any other fees added to our total Barfly costs?

A 15% service charge and 6.5-7% sales tax (depending on the county where the event takes place) will be added to all package totals. Gratuity is not included in your pricing. We feel that any gratuities should be at the discretion of our clients.

Is glassware included in the bar packages?

Glassware can be provided for an additional charge, please inquire within. Clear plastic cups are normally used for sodas, juices, and mixed drinks. Crystal plastic cups are used for wine.

Can I provide my own alcohol and hire a bartender from Barfly?

Unfortunately not, Barfly is a full service bar catering company. Our packages are all inclusive.
